Terms of Service

RemoveBG (the "Service") is operated by Optiroutetech ("we", "us"). By using the website, uploading an image or paying for a subscription you agree to these Terms of Service, our Subscription Terms, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to enter into this agreement, whichever is higher. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you can form a binding contract.

RemoveBG removes the background from your images automatically and lets you edit the result (for example, change the background, adjust colours or add a shadow) and download it.

Previews are free. Downloading results in full resolution (HD) requires a paid subscription. We may add, change or remove features at any time, and we do not guarantee that the Service will always be available or free of errors.

We do not ask you to create a password-protected account. We identify you by the email address you give us and by the browser you used to subscribe. You must give a valid email address that you control, and you are responsible for keeping access to that email and to your device. Tell us at support@removebg.cloud if you think someone else is using your subscription.

Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. The details of the trial, renewals, payment method and price changes are set out in our Subscription Terms, which form part of these Terms.

At the end of the 3-day trial your subscription converts to a paid monthly subscription automatically, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. If you cancel during the trial, you keep access until the trial ends and are not charged again.

If a renewal payment fails, our payment processor may retry the charge over the following days. While a payment is outstanding we may suspend HD downloads, and if it still cannot be collected we may cancel the subscription. You remain responsible for amounts that were due before cancellation.

You can cancel at any time in the billing portal or by emailing support@removebg.cloud from the email you used at checkout, with the subject "Unsubscribe". We confirm every cancellation by email. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.

Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or where we decide a refund is fair. See our Refund Policy for details and for how to ask for a refund.

If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us at support@removebg.cloud before opening a dispute with your bank — we usually solve it faster. We may suspend the Service for a payment that is under dispute.

You may only upload images that you own or that you have permission to edit. You keep all rights to your images. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process them only as needed to provide the Service to you, including sending them to the processing provider described in section 14.

We do not use your images to train machine-learning models. Uploaded images and results are deleted automatically after 24 hours, so please download anything you want to keep.

You must not use the Service to:

• upload or create anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else's rights, including images of people without the rights or consent you need;
• upload or create child sexual abuse material — we report it to the authorities;
• get around payment, download limits or other technical restrictions;
• scrape, copy or resell the Service, or access it through automated means except through features we offer for that purpose;
• overload, attack or interfere with the Service or the systems it runs on.

The website, the software, the RemoveBG name and logo belong to Optiroutetech or its licensors. These Terms do not give you any right to them other than to use the Service. The results you create from your own images belong to you.

We rely on third parties to run the Service: payments are processed by Stripe, background removal is performed by a specialised image-processing provider (Photoroom), and the Service is hosted with cloud hosting and storage providers. Their own terms may apply to the part of the service they provide. We are not responsible for third-party websites that we link to.

How we collect and use personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the results will meet your needs, be accurate or be free of errors, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or secure.

To the extent the law allows, Optiroutetech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to compensate Optiroutetech for claims, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) that result from content you upload or from your breach of these Terms, to the extent the law allows.

We may suspend or end your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable we will tell you first. You may stop using the Service at any time; to stop charges, cancel your subscription as described in section 8.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, unless mandatory laws of the place where you live give you different rights. Disputes will be decided by the competent courts of the Czech Republic, without limiting any right you have to bring a claim where you live.

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date; for material changes we will also tell subscribers by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the new Terms.

You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours to a successor of our business. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the documents they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
